Terra Elan McVoy joined Covenant's staff as our youth director on August 16, 2009. Terra grew up in Tallahassee, FL where she was avidly involved in her middle and high school youth groups at First Presbyterian Church. She attended St. Andrews Presbyterian College where she majored in creative writing, and eventually earned her MA in Creative Writing from Florida State University. Currently she works at Little Shop of Stories in Decatur, GA, and coordinates youth programming for the Decatur Book Festival. She is a writer, as well, and her first novel for teens, Pure, was published in April of this year.
A note from Terra: I am so excited to have found such a wonderful community in Covenant Presbyterian Church, and I am looking very much forward to getting to know everyone there, but most especially the youth of course. Thank you for welcoming me and for showing such support!
